Hey there, I am Sabina! Nice to meet you 😊

I am so excited to share my story with you 🤗 I'm originally from Kazakhstan, a country where over 130 nationalities and ethnic groups live together in harmony.

I moved to Toronto 🇨🇦 at the age of 16 years old to study in high school. I'll never forget the feeling of arriving in the city during a cold winter and not knowing a single person. But, you know, sometimes the biggest leaps of faith lead to the greatest rewards 😊

After finishing up high school, I headed west to Vancouver to attend the University of British Columbia. It was there that I discovered my love for tech, AI, and human-centered design. I was really fortunate to get involved with a start-up during my time at UBC and that's when I stumbled upon the world of UX design. Working on websites and applications made me realize that I had a natural affinity for UX design all along.

I realized at UBC that my journey into the world of UX Design started way back in middle school. I was always into creative stuff like drawing and painting 🎨, and I did well in visual art school and graduated with outstanding performance. Later on, I got into video editing 📹, and spent all my free time learning everything I could about it.

As time went by, my interest in UX Design only grew stronger. I pursued higher education, studying subjects like human behaviour, artificial intelligence, philosophy, and computer science. Looking back, I realize that every step I took in life was slowly leading me toward my true passion for UX Design.
